International Pathology Day: advances in rapid and point -of- care diagnostic testing

This year we again partner with The Pathologist magazine as well as Visopharm and Sonic Healthcare UK to bring together a global audience in celebration of a shared passion for pathology. The theme of this year’s event is advances in rapid and point-of-care diagnostic testing with a series of diverse talks by keynote speakers ranging from a pathology service offered to patients for self-collection to recent point-of-care diagnostic developments in eastern and southern Africa.

This will be followed by a live-streamed roundtable in the afternoon focusing on ‘a question of quality’ and enabling the opportunity for global participation, creating a truly international pathology day. Delegates attending the day can also attend a sponsored lunchtime workshop centred on artificial intelligence and take part in a poster completion, themed ‘Research into laboratory use’.
